Mesotherapy & Skin Booster
Treatments in Pickering, ON

Restore radiance, improve texture, and deeply hydrate from within — with microinjection treatments tailored to your skin's unique needs by Mia Piamonte, RN BScN.

The Science

What Is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy delivers a precisely formulated blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin through a series of micro-injections. Unlike topical products, which rarely penetrate beyond the surface, mesotherapy works at the level where real skin renewal happens. The result is improved hydration, brightness, and texture — achieved by nourishing the skin from within. Skin boosters take this further with concentrated hyaluronic acid microinjections that restore deep, structural hydration and elasticity over time.

What We Offer

Mesotherapy Treatments at MVP

Facial Mesotherapy

A customised cocktail of vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid is microinjected across the face to help support skin renewal. This treatment may help improve skin dullness, uneven tone, and the early signs of aging — restoring a healthy, lit-from-within glow. The formulation is tailored to your specific skin concerns at consultation.

Targets: Dullness · Uneven tone · Early fine lines · Radiance

Under-Eye Mesotherapy

The delicate skin beneath the eyes is among the thinnest on the face — and one of the first areas to show fatigue and aging. Under-eye mesotherapy delivers a gentle, targeted blend of hydrating and brightening actives designed to support the appearance of dark circles and fine lines in this sensitive zone. Mia's medical background and anatomical training are especially important here.

Targets: Dark circles · Under-eye crepiness · Fine lines · Fatigue appearance

Skin Boosters

Skin boosters use highly purified hyaluronic acid microinjections to restore deep hydration and improve skin elasticity from within. Unlike traditional fillers, skin boosters are not designed to add volume — they work to fundamentally improve skin quality. Results may include improved moisture retention, smoother texture, and a more supple, youthful appearance. A series of treatments is typically recommended for optimal results.

Targets: Dehydration · Loss of elasticity · Texture · Skin quality

Scalp Mesotherapy

Scalp mesotherapy delivers a nourishing blend of growth-supporting vitamins, minerals, and peptides directly into the scalp, designed to support follicle health and the scalp environment. This treatment is intended for those experiencing early-stage hair thinning or seeking to maintain the health and density of their hair. Results may vary, and a series of sessions is typically recommended.

Targets: Hair thinning · Scalp circulation · Follicle support · Hair health

Your Experience

What to Expect

Personal Consultation

Your appointment begins with a thorough one-on-one consultation. Mia listens to your concerns, assesses your skin, and recommends a treatment formulation and schedule tailored specifically to you. There is no pressure and no predetermined plan — everything is built around your goals.

The Treatment

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for your comfort. Mia then administers the microinjections with precision, using fine needles to deliver the active blend into the target area. Sessions are typically 30–45 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as mild — similar to a light pinch.

Recovery & Results

There is minimal downtime. Some mild redness or small injection points may be visible for a few hours after treatment, but most clients return to their day immediately. Skin hydration and radiance may improve gradually, with best results typically seen after a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Botox relaxes specific muscles to reduce dynamic wrinkles, and fillers restore volume or structure. Mesotherapy is different — it focuses on overall skin quality. Rather than targeting a wrinkle or a hollow, it delivers active ingredients into the skin to improve hydration, tone, texture, and radiance. The treatments complement each other and many clients incorporate mesotherapy as a skin health foundation alongside other injectables.

No — though both use hyaluronic acid, they work differently. Dermal fillers are designed to add or restore volume in specific areas (like lips or cheeks). Skin boosters use a much lighter, more fluid form of HA that spreads evenly through the skin to improve hydration and elasticity throughout the treated area. The goal is better skin quality, not added volume or structural change.

This depends on your skin concerns, your goals, and which treatment is right for you — all of which Mia will discuss with you at your consultation. Generally, a series of 3–4 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart is recommended for initial results, followed by maintenance sessions. Some clients notice improved hydration after a single session, while deeper skin quality improvements typically develop over a course of treatments.

Downtime is minimal. You may notice some redness, small injection points, or mild swelling in the treated area for a few hours after your session — this is normal and typically resolves the same day. Mia will provide specific aftercare guidance at your appointment, including any products or activities to avoid in the hours following treatment.

As with any injectable procedure, mesotherapy carries some risk — which is exactly why the credentials and training of your injector matter. Mia is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is trained specifically in aesthetic injectables. She uses only Health Canada-approved products and formulations. Your consultation will include a full review of your health history, any contraindications, and what to expect from your treatment.

Yes — mesotherapy and skin boosters work well alongside other aesthetic treatments as part of a broader skincare plan. Many clients combine them with anti-wrinkle injectables or dermal fillers to address both skin quality and specific cosmetic concerns. Mia will help you understand which combination, if any, makes sense for your goals and timing during your consultation.
